More good work that Valley Schools is doing!

Through the partnership of Valley Schools and Local First Arizona, 120 schools and city staff throughout Maricopa County were able to get fresh local produce from Sun Produce Coop that sources from our farms right here in Arizona.

As a part of the initiatives of the Valley Schools wellness program, WellStyles aims to empower employees with the tools and education on how to optimize your health.  Knowing that the food we put in our body is a major lifestyle factor that can improve our overall well-being, it was important to provide access to the product as well as support our local farms.

Over 120 bags of products were handed out on Friday by the WellStyles Team. Bags included recipe cards created by the Valley Schools Registered Dietitian Kristen DeCosta.
